Automotive Finance Manager Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to discuss their financing and insurance options, providing clear and accurate information to help them make informed decisions.
- Work with financial institutions to secure the best possible financing terms for customers, including interest rates, loan terms, and payment plans.
- Establish and reach monthly finance manager goals for automotive sales, service contracts, customer service, and other key benchmarks
- Prepare and process all required paperwork for vehicle sales, financing, and insurance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership policies and legal requirements.
- Support the sales managers during each vehicle purchase and leverage opportunities to offer aftermarket products, service contracts, and programs
- Abide by federal, state, and local regulations when preparing paperwork, finalizing financial transactions, setting interest rates, and working with lending institutions
Automotive Finance Manager Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline strongly preferred
- Proven experience as an F&I Manager or in a similar finance role within the automotive industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining financial integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record mandatory
- Must have strong communication skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the innate ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with dealership management software.
